I began painting at a young age, studying under Sandy Pelletier, training in oils. Although I did take time away from painting I have always been "crafty". I came back to painting only recently and fell in love of the bold colors of acrylics. I am self-taught in the acrylics and enjoy making my paintings realistic with an exaggerated effect.

I find my inspiration in the world around me. I enjoy getting outdoors with my wife and dogs: searching for the next subject to be painted paying attention to the colors and textures nature provides. I find my creativity in the small trips we take; whether it's the Northern California coastline, walking the streets of another town, or observing nature in my own backyard. I find inspiration in the conversations I have with others where I might "see" vicariously through their eyes experiences, and words.

I believe original art should be i every home making a statement; whether it's there for a reaction, emotion, an event, or just for fun.

My mission is to bring fine art into homes and making it an affordable investment.
